CONSUMER AWARENESS

A fair and well-functioning insurance sector requires consumers to be well-informed.  The Australian Government produced a discussion paper that addressed improving consumer understanding of insurance and their ability to make efficient and appropriate choices with respect to insurance.  This edition takes an in-depth look at transparency in providing effective disclosure practices so that Consumers can make an informed decision for selecting products which actually meet their needs.

Exposed highlights the availability and accessibility of relevant information – disclosed.
